Commissioner hearings in the European Parliament

Hearings of the 26 European Commissioner candidates will take place in the European Parliament from 11 to 19 January. The hearings give MEPs working in the relevant policy areas the opportunity to question the candidates, nominated by the EU Member States, on their knowledge and suitability for the Commission portfolio which has been provisionally assigned to them.
