    • The University of Applied Science VAMK in Vaasa, Finland, wishes to collaborate on an effort to better link theoretical classroom training to real world experience on the university level. Motivating professors to engage in untraditional teaching styles and increasing productivity would be at the heart of the project. In this project however, we would like to concentrate on the fields of business administration and economics, tourism, the catering trade and software development.

    • The City of Uppsala, located just to the north of Stockholm would like to arrange a transnational conference in the framework of PROGRESS or any other programme in order to promote new ideas regarding the promotion of equality in preschools and exchanging best practice. The project would start in the second half of 2007 and the conference would take place in autumn 2008.

    • CONSOLIDER-INGENIO2010 is looking for partners to undertake a project within the framework of the "Water for Industry" theme of FP7. CONSOLIDER is a Spanish national consortium whose work focuses on the intensive treatments of waste waters, the control and evaluation of water quality, the reuse of water for aquifer recharging and irrigation and the socio-economic impact of water treatments.

    • The London borough of Islington wishes to participate in a Leonardo project to support the development of small and medium sized enterprises. The project will include the development of training methods aimed at SME managers and employees, devloping new methods of support for specific sectors such as the creative industries and enhancing the support available to SMEs owned by women or ethnic minorities. Islington is experienced as both a participant and leader of EU projects.

    • The Chambre de Métiers et de l'Artisanat du Rhône wishes to partner on two projects aimed at recognizing and training the assisting spouse in family run crafts. The projects will increase training for the "invisible" spouse and promote dialogue between citizens of different countries in order to enhance dialogue of skills and work practices.

    • A Primary School in the Westpomerania region of Poland wishes to facilitate cultural exchanges between European school students. The project will involve exchanging vidoes and other materials detailing the cultural specificities of children across Europe, such as their diverse games, dishes and interests.

    • The World Dance Alliance (WDA) Europe wishes to collaborate building up the European structure and establish a trong representation for all forms of European dance.     ENVIRONMENT & ENERGY

    • The University of Bolgna is looking for partners to participate in its study on testing the multiple knowledge of environmental aspects, that refer to the concept of "territory", by validating a number of methods of analysis and reading, by adopting impartial tools such as cartography and remote sensing, organizational tools such as Geographical Information Systems, social tools such as methodical monitoring of the urban and rural reality of territory.

    • The Region of Alsace is looking for partners in response to the calls for proposals ICT-PSP-2008-2, in the area of Energy effieciency in public buildings, including lighting. The Region of Alsace is a regional public authority which has taken part in several projects aimed at optimising energy efficiency in thier public buildings, which represents nearly 13million m sq. With several years experience in the field of remote energy management, particularly heating, the Region of Alsace has achieved savings of between 5% to 18% per annum.

    • IFAPME are looking to develop an IEE project/ proposals related to energy-efficient buildings/ last type of priorities :

    • The city of Modena (Italy) is looking for partners for a project proposal to be submitted in the framework of the Intelligent Energy Europe Program.The project aims at testing a personalised communication campaign addressed to commuters from medium-size European cities (150.000 - 250.000 inhabitants). The campaign promotes changes in citizens' mobility behaviours in their commute journeys and encourage the use of local public transport.

(West Finland) focuses on the development of regional innovation environment and technology companies and plays a major role in developing the mechanical engineering cluster in Finland.     • "Excellence" Project.     • FAFFE- Andalusian Foundation for Training and Employment is a public foundation belonging to the Council (regional Ministry) for Employment of the government of Andalusia, Spain. It is active at regional level and specialised in the field of training and employment.     • The Committee of the Regions are looking for a similar organisation to the French network called "Alliance Villes-emploi" (a network of more than 100 municipal "maisons de l'emploi" dealing with inclusion of unemployed persons on the local labour market) in an other MS. They work on the basis of local partnerships between the local authorities, the public employment agencies, the private sector, the training operators and other local actors.
