Scotland Europa Partner Searches

Social & Employment
Background
The Employment and Skills Office in the city of Solna in Sweden is looking for partners to join their two European Social Fund (ESF) projects - HEART Competence and HEART Employment.

HEART stands for Health Empowerment, Achievement, Responsibility and Training. HEART Competence will designate further skills training amongst staff employed by the municipalities and regions.
Focus
HEART Employment focuses upon the issues of long-term unemployment as well as the incidences of employment among newly arrived immigrants and refugees.

The key factors surrounding this project are social responsibility, equal opportunities and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Deadlines
The deadline for this partnership initiative is May 30 2009, with an application deadline of September 30 2009 and a project timeline of three years.

Enterprise
Background
Invent SME, a venture ADITEC Pas-de Calais, an association for enterprise and innovation based in the North of France. They specialise in helping Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to develop and increase their competitiveness.

Currently, ADITEC are in the process of setting up an INTERREG IVC project with proposals to be submitted at the end of 2009.

INVET SME will focus upon the theme of entrepreneurship and therefore ADITEC are seeking European partners, mainly from local and regional authorities, to exchanges knowledge and best practices in this field.
Focus
The objectives of this venture are:
  • To increase innovative enterprise creation in European regions.
  • Gather information tools and case studies which aid in developing regional policy and promote entrepreneurship.
  • Give local authorities, higher education institutions and entrepreneurial and innovative actors the tools and methods to promote entrepreneurship within higher education institutions.
  • Encourage connections between specialised institutions in the creation of innovative enterprises and higher education institutions.
