Scotland House is a focal point for Scotland Europa to promote Scottish interests in the heart of the EU. Our conference centre services include:

How to get here

Scotland House is centrally located in Brussels’ European Quarter and enjoys excellent transport links. Schuman metro station is less than a minute’s walk and Brussels Airport is only 15 minutes by train or 25 minutes by bus or car.

Public transport

As Scotland House is within easy reach of Schuman metro station, we are well-connected to all other parts of the city.

Brussels has a well-organised and user-friendly public transport system that includes metros, trams and buses. There are route maps of the interconnected train, tram and bus network with timetables posted at most stops, as well as free maps available from the tourist office. The journey planner on the website of the Société des Transports Intercommunaux de Bruxelles (STIB) includes a map of the metro system in Brussels. The STIB site also features a map of the entire transport network.

Air

Brussels Airport is located north-east of the city centre in the nearby Flemish municipality of Zaventem. The airport is easily reached from Scotland House via direct train to the station Bruxelles-Schuman, or via the Airport Line bus number 12.

Brussels South Charleroi Airport is located near Charleroi, 45 minutes south of Brussels. A shuttle bus connects the airport with the Gare du Midi/Zuidstation in Brussels. To get from the railway station to Scotland House, see instructions under Train.

Train

The Eurostar arrives at Brussels Gare du Midi/Zuidstation. From here it is a short metro ride to Scotland House. Take metro 2 or 6 towards Simonis (Elisabeth) and change at Arts-Loi/Kunst-Wet to metro 1 or 5 towards Stokkel/Hermann-Debroux. Get off at Schuman.
