Scotland Europa Special Paper – Position Paper on the future of EU Cohesion Policy Post-2020

On 8 March, Scotland Europa submitted a joint membership response to the European Commissions public consultation on EU funds in the area of Cohesion.

The response highlights Scotland's commitment to European regional collaboration and the value that it brings to us and our partners, particularly European Territorial Cooperation. Our contribution to the consultation focused on sharing the lessons learned from a Scottish perspective, outlining the importance of providing continuity to the learning and sharing knowledge from and with our European partners.

The content within this paper was written in consultation with Scotland Europa Members, invited to input written contributions and case studies. Additionally, a webinar was hosted by Scotland Europa, to discuss the position paper in detail before its final submission to the European Commission.
